The LAK will take place in the lecture halls of the Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences and is organised by the Institute of Earth Sciences.
Weather in April can be quite varied, changing rapidly from cold and wet with abundant but short rain showers (some snow) to sunny. So, please bring warm clothes and rain gear.
Travel : Heidelberg can easily be reached from airports in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe/Baden within 2 hours or less. For train schedules see :

Location & Directions
At the main railway station, leave the building northwards, cross the street and take tramway number 21 or 24, until you reach stop "Technologiepark" then follow signs "LAK2011". You can buy single or quadruple tickets from the ticket machine at the platform. There is no possibility to buy tickets in trains or busses.
